Kindra Tatarsky
Managing Director
San Francisco, CA
Kindra Tatarsky joined Touchdown in 2018. Her career path provides a unique perspective on how consumer behavior and preferences, coupled with emerging technologies, drives disruption across industries. Kindra’s initial focus on retail and consumer products expanded during her tenure at Golden Seeds, Nielsen and a high-growth start-up. Working with businesses across consumer, media, healthcare, financial services, software and real estate illustrated that consumer behavior is a common catalyst to driving change. Investing in innovation to drive change is multi-faceted, and Kindra deeply values the interplay of quantitative and qualitative analysis when identifying such opportunities.
Kindra graduated from U.C.L.A. with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Business. The most valuable training she has received, however, came from watching her grandfather, Bob Devaney, coach at Nebraska: passionate about teamwork, ever curious to finding a diamond in the rough, and committed to humility in listening, learning and life.
A continuous student, Kindra maximizes any opportunity to learn about new technologies and industries. She advises companies capitalizing on the shifts in consumer behavior, and mentors numerous people launching new phases in their career.
Kindra splits time between the Bay Area and New York Tristate areas; when she’s not working you can find her traveling with her husband and two college-aged children, immersing herself in the great outdoors, and spending time with friends who enjoy the same.

“Travel is like love, mostly because it’s a heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed. That is why the best trips, like the best love affairs, never really end.” — Pico Iyer
