Michael Beer joined Touchdown Ventures in the Summer of 2023 and focuses on investments in security technology, property technology, and A.I.
Before Touchdown, Michael evaluated investment opportunities at Metaprop VC where he sourced both early and growth stage deals, ran due diligence, and worked with portfolio companies. Michael started his career as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where he worked on cases ranging from supply chain optimization to large-scale transformation & restructurings.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from Columbia University. While in business school, Michael was on the executive boards of the Real Estate Association and the Private Equity Club. Additionally, Michael advised early-stage CPG and proptech startups.
Outside of work you can find Michael at a comedy club, enjoying the outdoors, or engaged in a heated game of Catan.
